IV Festival Internacional de Animación de Córdoba

La convocatoria se encuentra abierta a la exhibición de largos y cortos de animación de cualquier género y temática. Especial interés se presta a los trabajos en los cuales la intención expresiva del realizador sobresale frente a los requerimientos del mercado; y a aquellos trabajos producidos en el marco de instituciones educativas.
La participación está abierta a trabajos de cualquier lugar del mundo, con especial interés en aquellos procedentes de América Latina; desarrollados para cine, video, televisión o Internet.
NO HAY COSTO DE INSCRIPCIÓN.

CATEGORÍA CINE, VIDEO Y TELEVISIÓN: 30 de junio.
CATEGORÍA INTERNET: 20 de julio.
Este año, el eje central del festival esta puesto en la relación paradójica y a la vez simbiótica de las herramientas necesarias para producir animación en todos los niveles, desde lo independiente hasta lo comercial.
La falsa dicotomía entre la manualidad y la alta tecnología se manifiesta en el cine de animación, en el pueden ser plenamente integradas, complementadas y exploradas.
Esto nos lleva a pensar en el software libre como una posibilidad de liberación en la producción comercial de animación, y nos alienta a explorarlo, a usarlo, a modificarlo y a compartirlo para producir
libremente, sin precios ni permisos, un producto creativo que, si así lo deseamos, pueda competir comercialmente en el mercado.
Este nuevo concepto nos quita obstáculos y acerca más la alta tecnología a nuestras manos que dibujan, que pintan, que modelan, que animan...
En el marco del Festival también se desarrollarán muestras no competitivas; seminarios; retrospectivas; talleres y foros específicos de animación.
El jurado de la cuarta edición de ANIMA 07 estará compuesto por prestigiosas personalidades, como el animador chileno TOMAS WELSS, el animador argentino radicado en España RODOLFO PASTOR y la animadora y productora MARIA VERÓNICA RAMIREZ.
Entre nuestros invitados confirmados se encuentran el animador, el historiador de animación italiano GIANNALBERTO BENDAZZI y el mítico dibujante y artista gráfico ROCAMBOLE, entre otros.

The Festival is open for short and feature animation films of every genre and topic. Special interest is granted to those films where the filmmaker's
expressive intention stands out from marketing requirements; and also to school productions.
Participation is open for animation movies from all over the world - produced for theatrical screenings, television, video or the Internet - with special interest in those from Latin America.

The axis of this edition of the ANIMA is placed on technology: The tools needed to produce animation, either independent or commercial. The false dichotomy between manual craft and high technology is evident in animation, where both can be totally integrated, complemented and explored. This takes us to think about free software as a liberating possibility in the commercial production of animation, and encourages us to explore it, use it, modify it and share it to freely produce a creative product which could compete commercially in the market. This new concept clears obstacles and provides high technology to our drawing, modelling, painting, animating hands......
The Festival will also hold a series of non - competitive screenings, seminars, workshops, specialized forums, and retrospectives.
The jury for the fourth edition of ANIMA 07 will be composed of persons of recognised prestige, as Chilean animator Tomás Welss, Argentine - Spanish animator Rodolfo Pastor and Argentinian animator and producer María Verónica Ramírez.
Some confirmed guests include Italian animation historian Giannalberto Bendazzi; and mythical Argentine graphic artist Rocambole, among others.
